Puppy School Course:

Congratulations on becoming a new dog owner. As the famous saying goes a dog is a man best’s friend, this is absolutely true, they will show you lots of never-ending affection and loyalty and there is no doubt that they will improve and enhance your quality of life.

As your puppy’s owner you are responsible for preparing your puppy for adulthood. Your goal is to train your puppy into becoming a happy, well behaved, confident, and relaxed dog.

The first few months of your puppy’s life are the most important for social development. The optimal time for your puppy to attend Puppy School is between 8-16 weeks.

Our four week puppy school is designed to help you achieve this goal. Puppy school is ideal for all puppies aged 5 months and under. 

Course content includes:

• Socialisation and habituation
• Toilet training 
• Bite inhibition
• Positive Reinforcement training 
• Command training
• Basic canine first aid
• Nutrition advice
• Loose leash training 
• Lot and lots of fun and cuteness.
• All puppies must be vaccinated and a copy or photo of a signed vaccinated certificate from a veterinary surgeon, must be shown beforehand. Classes are taught by Mairín, a qualified Clinical Animal Behaviourist and registered veterinary nurse
